Yoga really can improve your life!
Although this seems like a big statement it’s actually been proven to be true by Western Science.
Yoga has been practiced for millennia in the Far East of the world but its only in more recent times that yoga has become more popular and accessible to all, not just the spiritually minded amongst us, but for people looking for a kinder way to improve both their physical and mental health.
Although there are many health benefits to pounding the pavements or hitting the gym, science is now proving that regular yoga sessions can burn as many calories as a gym workout whilst being much more gentle on the skeleton and soft tissues of the body whist having the added benefit of calming the mind as well as being a very sociable experience.

During the class the focus is on pure wellbeing, not ability or style, just inner peacefulness whilst learning gentle poses and movement flows, focusing on the breath and releasing tension throughout the body so that you leave feeling refreshed and uplifted.

Our Living Soul Yoga classes will be available to pre-book with specific classes aimed at those of us over 50 as well as Little Soul Children’s Yoga for children over 6yrs and a new hybrid Balliyoga class combining the support of ballet barre work found in traditional ballet class fused with yoga floor work so is excellent if you struggle with your balance.
